We celebrated Ed's birthday with a Spanish feast of paella and tapas from Boca'o. Chris was able to join us for dinner, too. Another pandemic birthday celebration but it was still a good one. Love you, Ed!
I drove to the BCIT vaccination location and got my first jab of the Pfizzer vaccine. Ed will get his shot in a couple of weeks. Vaccination is the only way to end this pandemic and I'm happy to do my part.
This blog is about our family life - our adventures, our ups and downs, our dreams and aspirations. It's so easy to forget the details of the everyday and so this blog is for storing and sharing our stories. So we can look back, remember and laugh about our life together, not just the big events but also the everyday ones that slip from our minds over time. My hope is to capture the love we have for each other through the stories in this blog.
We've been enjoying watching the Tokyo Olympics. It's great to see these top-level athletes compete but it's also really sad to see the stands empty. When is this pandemic going to end??? Olympic highlights: Canadian women swim team doing so well (Penny, Maggie Mac Neil, Kayla Sanchez), watching archery for the first time (it's very exciting), Tom Daley knitting while watching the diving competition, the youngsters in skate boarding, Damian Warner in the decathlon, and Andre De Grasse winning medals. And Toyota had ad during the Tokyo Olympics broadcast: You don't need to be amazing to start but you need to start to be amazing.
